The museums you should visit

Before its attachment to France in 1766, Nancy was the capital of a duchy already old from seven centuries, then it became one of the world capital of Art Nouveau at the very end of the XIX century. These are the reasons why Nancy can claim such an amazing art diversity for a city of that size.

Different must-see museums:

  • Beaux Arts Museum: On the Place Stanislas
  • Ecole de Nancy Museum: The Art-Nouveau Museum in Nancy, located in Corbin’s house.
  • The Villa Majorelle: dependent with the Ecole de Nancy museum has reopened in 2020 after a
    long restoration (It is compulsory to get a ticket!)
  • The other ones: Aquarium-museum, the Iron museum, the historical Lorrain museum (reopening
    in 2023)
